Falcon Forum Parent Newsletter
Dear Falcon Families,
As we are preparing to close out the month of April, I want to extend fond appreciation for your continued partnership and support. Next week marks an important transitional moment for our school as we shift our focus from April’s events into a critical month ahead—one filled with high-stakes opportunities for our students to showcase what they’ve learned.
Here’s what’s on the horizon:
The month of May brings with it a wave of essential testing that helps guide our academic programming and student growth. We’ll be diving into:
- AP Exams, which begin the first full week of May and continue through mid-month.
- STAMP Testing for our World Language learners—a vital tool for measuring proficiency and placing students accurately in future language courses.
- NOCTI Wrap-Up and other end-of-year career and technical assessments that reflect the hands-on work of our skilled Falcon scholars.
May is the last full month of high school for our amazing Class of 2025. We’ll be celebrating and supporting our seniors as they prepare for final exams, graduation, and life beyond VHS. It’s a time full of pride and emotion, and we’re excited to make every moment count.
This week is packed with activity—from Prom, the NHS Induction Ceremony, and AP Mock Exams to our ongoing NOCTI testing. Thank you for helping ensure your student(s) arrive prepared and supported. We couldn’t do this without the village we’ve built together.
As we navigate these next few weeks of assessments and celebrations, please don’t hesitate to reach out with questions or concerns. Let’s continue to push forward with Falcon pride, ensuring all students finish strong and feel proud of their growth.
Respectfully,
Dr. Quintin Davis
Principal, Vilseck High School

We are excited to announce our partnership with Columbia Southern University to offer The Military Child Education Coalition Heroic Hearts Scholarship.
This scholarship is designed to support a member of the military caregiving population — specifically, caregiving youth who are children and young adults actively involved in or impacted by the care needs of a wounded, ill, or injured service member. Caregiving youth can have the weight of the world on their shoulders, balancing the demands of caregiving, school, and adolescence. This scholarship will remove an obstacle, open doors, and bring career goals within reach. The Heroic Hearts Scholarship covers tuition and technology fees. Share this opportunity with 12th grade students and help make dreams a reality. Applications for the scholarship will be accepted now through April 30. Additionally, recipients may have the opportunity to receive their scholarship in person at the Military Child Education Coalition Global Training Summit in Washington D.C. in July 2025.
