Falcon Forum Parent Newsletter

It’s never easy to say goodbye, especially to a school and community as wonderful as Vilseck High School. Being a Falcon has been one of the greatest joys of my career, and I will truly miss every single student—every single Falcon! You have all made a lasting impact on my heart, and I am so grateful for the time we’ve shared.
As I prepare to take on a new adventure as the principal of Elliott Elementary School, I want you to remember—once a Falcon, always a Falcon! No matter where I go, VHS will always be a part of me. I will always be cheering you on, celebrating your successes, and carrying the incredible spirit of this school with me. Keep soaring, keep dreaming big, and keep making VHS the amazing place that it is. The future is bright, and I know each of you will do incredible things!
This isn’t goodbye—it’s just “see you later!” Please keep in touch; I am just one quick email away. I can’t wait to hear about all the amazing things you accomplish!
With Falcon pride,
Dr. Jackie Koenig
Vilseck High School Assistant Principal

We are excited to announce our partnership with Columbia Southern University to offer The Military Child Education Coalition Heroic Hearts Scholarship.
This scholarship is designed to support a member of the military caregiving population — specifically, caregiving youth who are children and young adults actively involved in or impacted by the care needs of a wounded, ill, or injured service member. Caregiving youth can have the weight of the world on their shoulders, balancing the demands of caregiving, school, and adolescence. This scholarship will remove an obstacle, open doors, and bring career goals within reach. The Heroic Hearts Scholarship covers tuition and technology fees. Share this opportunity with 12th grade students and help make dreams a reality. Applications for the scholarship will be accepted now through April 30. Additionally, recipients may have the opportunity to receive their scholarship in person at the Military Child Education Coalition Global Training Summit in Washington D.C. in July 2025.
