Vilseck High School prides itself on creating a supportive learning environment for our students!
In a couple of weeks, we are being visited by fellow educators from other DoDEA schools who will observe our school and give us feedback on something we care deeply about: creating a supportive learning environment. We know that our teachers and staff are dedicated to helping all students learn, and our teacher work days have focused on training for getting students more engaged in academic discussions, problem-solving, productive struggle, and reasoning. In order to reach such academic heights, students must feel supported. Recently, we asked students to share how VHS teachers support them in their classes, and here is some of what they had to say:
We thank our amazing students for sharing their thoughts, and we continue to be honored to serve such an amazing community here at Vilseck High School!
Sincerely,
VHS Staff

We are excited to announce our partnership with Columbia Southern University to offer The Military Child Education Coalition Heroic Hearts Scholarship.
This scholarship is designed to support a member of the military caregiving population — specifically, caregiving youth who are children and young adults actively involved in or impacted by the care needs of a wounded, ill, or injured service member. Caregiving youth can have the weight of the world on their shoulders, balancing the demands of caregiving, school, and adolescence. This scholarship will remove an obstacle, open doors, and bring career goals within reach. The Heroic Hearts Scholarship covers tuition and technology fees. Share this opportunity with 12th grade students and help make dreams a reality. Applications for the scholarship will be accepted now through April 30. Additionally, recipients may have the opportunity to receive their scholarship in person at the Military Child Education Coalition Global Training Summit in Washington D.C. in July 2025.
