Vilseck High School Students Shine at DoDEA STEMposium
Last week, Vilseck High School students proudly participated in DoDEA’s STEMposium, an annual event that brings together students from across the Department of Defense Education Activity to explore the exciting world of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). The STEMposium is designed to foster innovation, collaboration, and problem-solving through hands-on challenges and team-based competitions.
During the conference, VHS students engaged in a variety of activities, including engineering design challenges, biotechnology projects, and a robotics competition, among others. These experiences allowed students to apply classroom knowledge to real-world scenarios while working alongside peers from other DoDEA schools.
We are thrilled to celebrate the achievements of two outstanding VHS representatives:
- Jacey Hwang, who competed on the Eta Team, earning an impressive second place finish.
- Jina Kim, who represented VHS on the Pi Team, which secured first place overall.
Congratulations to all our participants for their hard work and dedication! Your creativity and teamwork truly embody the spirit of STEM.
