Vilseck High School Drama Students Bring Holiday Cheer with A Christmas Carol
This week, Vilseck High School’s talented Drama students brought the timeless classic A Christmas Carol to life for the entire school community. After weeks of preparation—designing costumes, rehearsing lines, and perfecting stage movements—the students delivered two captivating performances on Tuesday for their peers and staff.
The excitement doesn’t stop there! On Wednesday, the Drama team will take their show on the road to Vilseck Elementary School, sharing the magic of live theater with younger students. These performances not only spread holiday cheer but also highlight the creativity, collaboration, and dedication of our students.
Events like this remind us of the joy that comes from both participating in and watching student-led productions. Theater provides a unique opportunity for students to express themselves, build confidence, and work as a team—skills that extend far beyond the stage.
This activity aligns with DoDEA College and Career Readiness Standards, which emphasize communication, critical thinking, and collaboration. Through drama, students engage in authentic learning experiences that foster problem-solving, creativity, and interpersonal skills—key components of success in school and beyond.
Congratulations to our Drama students for their hard work and for sharing the spirit of the season with the Vilseck community!
