January 10th Marksmanship Match Recap
The marksmanship continues its march through the season as they prepare for the European Championship at the end of this month, and the Army Service Championship in February at Camp Perry, Ohio. The team put together another solid performance as we shook off the holiday break rust and posted our second-best score of the season. The team was led by Camdyn Deese with a phenomenal score of 290. Both Jasmine Tetterton and Emma Eggert followed suit with elite score of 286 each. The European championship can go to any team in the top 6 of DODEA. Ansbach put up a crushing score of 1147, we were right behind the defending European Champ of K-Town with 1136, Wiesbaden at 1115, Ramstein at 1110 and Stuttgart at 1109. A single match is worth 1200 points so the margin between 1st and 6th place is .0316. It will be a highly competitive with 3 matches left in the regular season.
